It's Halloween Day. Can you tell? It started this past weekend when Iris went to on a playdate with at friend to the Oakland Zoo. There was a short time when these two little girls were alone and far ahead of their moms. The zoo staff was fast and found them. We continued to enjoy the warm day, walking around to see animals, and getting treats to eat (for later).
In the evening, Iris got to see some friends from preschool days. There were crafts, games like bobbing for apples, and a trampoline for jumping. Thanks, Emily!
This morning was a class breakfast for families. The kids had great costumes. In Iris's class, there were several princesses and a few witches (
sorcieres). There was an all-school parade and a short school day. How convenient! Now, onto trick-or-treating.
