Today we went to Yue Xiu Park via subway. This park is huge and we missed seeing a famous statue of five rams. Maybe next time. It was a hot walk in the park, but the tree shade made it cooler. Of course, Iris fell asleep, but we enjoyed talking to a few other families.
In the afternoon, I went with two other moms to get a foot massage, which was wonderful because it included the neck, shoulder and legs, too. For 70 minutes of massage cost about $15 (U.S.)! I thank Brian for letting me indulge a bit.
It's been fun seeing how Iris is more comfortable and happier, even when changing diapers and clothes. We're trying to give her opportunities to crawl. She still favors sitting after a few crawls because she bends her right leg such that she has a hard time moving her butt over it. We're on our second videotape cartridge of Iris and have taken over 300 digital photos of her. That means some time spent compiling and organizing all this into seemingly endless slideshows of Iris to show family and friends. Get ready, friends!
